Hello everyone!
I’m happy to announce this giveaway on Korean Kimchimari Salt blends! FIRST, if you are wondering what is so different about Korean sea salt then you should read this post where I compare 12 different salts. But the salts are important not just for Kimchi making but also it tastes sooo good!
These salt blends are made with Korean Cheonilyeom (Korean Solar Sea Salt) which originates from seawater being dried under the sun and my blend of spices to make your Korean cooking easier and yummier!
Korean Chili Salt
This beautiful, crimson-colored salt offers slightly spicy, oniony, and nutty flavors with a little zing. Perfect for making lightly pickled dishes like Muchim with cucumber, onion, but also to simply season any meats.
Seoul BBQ Salt
On the other hand, Seoul BBQ Salt is peppery, garlicky, and nutty. I love seasoning fish/meat dishes with this salt before I grill them or use them as dipping salt or with some sesame oil – true Korean table Gui style!
A BIG THANK YOU to Josu Salt Co. for sponsoring this GIVEAWAY!

- HOW TO ENTER:
- REQUIRED – You must be subscribed to my blog (note, you also get a free Korean BBQ Dinner cookbook when you sign up for my newsletters) or Subscribe Now by clicking on ‘join’ button on my home page.
- REQUIRED – ENTER COMMENT BELOW and ANSWER FOLLOWING TWO QUESTIONS –
- Question 1 – Do BIG granules of Korean Salt prevent you from using it all the time? Or any other reason why you do or don’t use it all the time?
- Question 2 – Do you want the Seoul BBQ Salt to come with or without a grinder? If you are scared of big salt crystals, then choose the grinder.
Note that because Korean sea salt is still quite wet, the coarse Korean salt may not work with common grinders. Our Korean sea salt grinder contains salt that we roast in the oven for hours so it’s dry enough to be ground without any issues!
