Listen to my Eat Blog Talk podcast interview – Blogging over the Long Haul

Posted:11/21/2019
podcast interview with mega at eatblogtalk

flower image showing my title for my podcast interview - blogging for the long haul by eatblogtalk.comRecently, I have been invited by the lovely Megan Porta at Eat Blog Talk podcast to share my thoughts, experiences and insights about blogging through the long haul. Yes.. folks, I’m going past 9 years and counting.. will be 10 very soon.

I shared about how I am still able to keep my passion alive, not get crushed by comparing myself to other big bloggers and ‘staying in my lane’ and cherish what makes blogging special to me. Some fun stories of how my blog has helped a few of my followers in making their lives for the better.

Also, are you interested in blogging? Did you ever want to learn more about what it takes to be a successful blogger?FYI, Here are some quick stats about blogging:

  • There are more than 500 million blogs in 2019
  • More than 2 million posts go live every day, on average.
  • Only less than 10% of all bloggers generate some income. [source: hostingtribunal]

Are you already blogging but stressed and down because it’s not where you want it to be? Well, then you need to listen to the lessons I learned over the years on my latest The Eat Blog Talk podcast interview.

BTW, Eat Blog Talk interviews food bloggers and other experts who will bring insight into the world of food blogging. Megan Porta is the founder of the Eat Blog Talk podcast but also continues to work on her food blog Pip and Ebby.

She started her blog in 2010 (same time as ME!!!) and she turned it into a full-time career since 2013 (I decided to make mine a full-time in 2015!).  Her passion for blogging and her big desire to help fellow food bloggers find the information, insight and support they are looking for, made Eat Blog Talk what it is today.

I really had a blast doing this, I would be so nervous usually but she made it so much fun and enjoyable to do. Thank you Megan!! 😍💕
