Korean Name: 고운소금

Romanization: Gounsogeum

Scientific Classification: Sodium Chloride (NaCl)

Also Known As: fine salt

Goes well with:

Sea salt is delicious sprinkled on boiled potatoes or pork belly for chargrilling.

What is Goeunsogeum ?

Goeun-sogeum 고운소금 just means 'fine salt' as Sogeum = salt and Goeun = fine. This salt has a very fine granularity, similar to common table salt.  It can be just table salt, fine sea salt, or fine rock salt.

Not To Be Confused With

Mat Sogeum 맛소금 (this is fine salt + MSG).

How to Use/Cook

Sea salt is delicious sprinkled on boiled potatoes or pork belly for chargrilling.
