(Korean Cinnamon Ginger Punch)

Sujeonggwa is a Korean dessert drink that is really simple and easy to make with no special ingredients needed.

Water Ginger Cinnamon Sticks Sugar

THE INSTRUCTIONS

Peel  the ginger and slice thin. Rinse cinnamon sticks in water. Prepare a kettle with water. Add ginger to to the pot of water and bring to a boil and let simmer for 20 minutes.

Add cinnamon to a different pot of water and simmer for 20 minutes. Strain the ginger and cinnamon water to filter debris.

Combine the ginger and cinnamon water and add sugar. Bring to a boil and simmer for 2-3 minutes. Chill in the refrigerator.

Serve cold and garnish with a few pine nuts on top.  Enjoy!
