With Kimchi & Pancetta

Easy Brussels sprouts recipe with Kimchi?? What?? I know.. it kinda sounds strange but trust me – it is good. And it’s also gluten free.

THE INGREDIENTS

Brussels Sprouts Pancetta Napa Cabbage Kimchi Gochujang Vegetable Oil Sugar Sesame Seeds

THE INSTRUCTIONS

Heat oven to 400°. Cut brussels sprouts and kimchi.  Heat vegetable oil in an oven safe pan. Sauté pancetta in oil for about 1 minute.

Add brussels sprouts to pan with pancetta, cut-side down. Season lightly with salt and pepper.  Put the pan in the oven and roast for 5 minutes.

While it is roasting, sauté kimchi and gochujang for 2-3 minutes.  When brussels sprouts are done roasting, remove from oven and add kimchi and gochujang. Toss together, coating with oil.

THE INSTRUCTIONS

Sprinkle with sugar and mix again.  Put back in the oven and roast for another 15 minutes.  Sprinkle sesame seeds and serve!
