Wash and drain both regular and sweet rice. Repeat 3 times. Cook rice using preferred method. It's better for rice to be on the dry side rather than the wet side.
Prepare filling(s) while you wait for rice to cook. You can use seasoned ground beef, spam, tuna with mayo, or American cheese. Once rice is cooked, cool it by spreading it out on a plate. Season it by sprinkling sesame oil and salt.
Wearing plastic gloves, pick up a handful of rice and shape it into a triangle. Make a well in the middle and put your filling in. Cover the filling with more rice and finish your triangle.
Now cover the Joomukbap with a strip of dried seaweed. You can use a strip of roasted seaweed or unroasted seaweed and wrap it around the middle part of each rice triangle. Enjoy!
