KOREAN CHIVE 

PANCAKES

Korean Chive Pancake (Buchujeon) uses Garlic Chives and is one of those foods that may seem like there is not much difference between different recipes but you can actually have an amazingly good chive pancake.

KEY INGREDIENTS

Korean Chives | Flour  Water | Egg | Sea Salt  Sugar | Vegetable Oil

THE INSTRUCTIONS

Clean the chives and cut into 2 inch pieces. Make the batter by mixing flour, water, egg, salt and sugar. Whisk until smooth.

Gradually add batter to a bowl of chives. Heat a pan to medium-high heat then add vegetable oil. Pour batter into the pan and spread out with a spatula.

Cook for 2 minutes. Turn the pancake over and add more oil around the edges and cook until nicely browned.

Cut into squares or diamonds and serve! Enjoy!
