Happy Easter everyone!
Every spring, I want to visit my garden or other gardens to enjoy the spring blossoms that are blooming everywhere. This year, I finally (after having lived in the bay area for almost 20 years) visited our local Japanese garden that is known to have beautiful cherry blossoms. Hakone Gardens celebrated their 100 years last year and although it is not as meticulously manicured as some other Japanese gardens, it has many pretty flowering plants and trees and… of course, a koi pond in the center of it all.
So to celebrate Easter and Spring with you all, I am sharing some pictures I took yesterday. 😀 I hope you will make some time to take a break and visit your local gardens, don’t wait 20 years like I did..Hope these pictures bring a beautiful start to your day and week. 😍
And this picture needs a comment — I am not sure what kind of tree this is since I have not seen it when it was fully green. But I noticed these cute tiny needles coming in. They look like little paint brushes… sooo cute aren’t they? When the beautiful cherry blossom trees are attracting everyone’s attention and people are so busy taking pictures in front of it, I found this little tree saying to me, “I may be not as loud as the cherry trees but I’m unique and fabulous in my own way too..”.
Finally, here’s one with my friend Mrs. Woo’s hat appearing with another flowering tree.
